Job Description

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer with strong robotic support skills to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair robotic systems and related automation equipment at customer sites. This person will be the company's technical ambassador in the field--ensuring high uptime, excellent service, and driving customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, calibrate, and commission robotic systems and automation equipment (robot arms, conveyors, vision systems, safety guards, etc.). Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, and software issues in robotic cells and related equipment. Carry out preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance to maximize system reliability and performance. Assist customers (on-site) with training on operation, safety, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting. Respond to field service requests in a timely manner; provide remote support when needed and escalate / dispatch for on-site repair. Maintain accurate and detailed service reports, logs, records of failures, root cause analyses, spare parts usage etc. Work closely with internal engineering/R&D teams to feed back field observations, suggest improvements, and help with software / hardware upgrades. Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards in the servicing of robotic equipment. Travel to customer sites frequently. Be willing to work flexible hours (may include nights, weekends, or on-call if required) to support emergency breakdowns or installations.
