Robotic Operation & Support
Assist in operating robotic cells for:
Welding
Plasma / Laser cutting
Material handling
Monitor robot performance during production
Support loading / unloading activities
Basic Robot Programming & Teaching
Assist seniors in:
Teach pendant programming
Touch-ups and minor program edits
Maintain backup of robot programs
Learn offline programming tools (as applicable)
Robotic Welding & Process Learning
Support execution of robotic welding as per WPS
Observe and learn:
Torch angles
Travel speeds
Weld sequencing
Assist in weld trial runs and production approval
Maintenance & Troubleshooting Support
Support preventive maintenance activities
Assist in identifying:
Basic alarms
Sensor issues
Cable and torch problems
Escalate breakdowns to senior engineers or OEM support
Safety & Quality Compliance
Follow all safety guidelines related to:
Robot cells
Interlocks
Guards and light curtains
Ensure quality checks during robotic production
Participate in safety toolbox talks
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain daily records of:
Robot running hours
Downtime reasons
Production output
Update reports in ERP / Excel under guidance
Learning & Continuous Improvement
Learn fabrication processes:
Structural steel
Pressure vessels
Assemblies
Identify opportunities to improve cycle time and quality
Participate in Kaizen / improvement projects

Qualification
B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in:
Robotics
Mechatronics
Mechanical
Electrical / Electronics
Basic training or academic exposure to industrial robots (FANUC / ABB / KUKA / YASKAWA - added advantage)
Experience
