to program, operate, and maintain OTC Daihen industrial robots, primarily for welding and automated manufacturing applications. The role involves robot programming, system integration, troubleshooting, and process optimization to ensure high-quality and efficient production.
Key Responsibilities
Program, set up, and optimize
OTC Daihen industrial robots
Develop and modify robot welding programs (arc welding / spot welding)
Perform robot teaching, touch-up, and cycle time optimization
Integrate robots with welding power sources, fixtures, PLCs, and safety systems
Troubleshoot robot alarms, welding defects, and system failures
Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of robotic systems
Support production teams during installation, commissioning, and ramp-up
Ensure compliance with safety standards and production quality requirements
Create and maintain technical documentation and backup programs
Train operators and technicians on OTC robot operation and safety
Required Qualifications
Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field
Hands-on experience with
OTC Daihen robots
Strong knowledge of robotic welding processes (MIG / MAG / TIG)
Experience with robot teach pendants and offline/online programming
Understanding of industrial automation, sensors, and actuators
Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
