22270BR Requisition Number: 22270BR Description: Primary Purpose of Job: Contribute to the ongoing growth of Stantec ResourceNet Private India Ltd by providing technical expertise in specialist areas of Highway Geometric Design To be involved in the implementation and delivery of leading-edge Highway and Road design schemes. Support project managers/team leader by providing technical expertise to ensure that project outcomes in terms of profit, schedule, technical and quality standards, meet both the client and Stantec expectations. Stantec is looking for a Highway Engineer that can be a part of our growing team in our Pune office. We want to discuss with you why this is a great opportunity! Key Accountabilities: . Support lead engineer to deliver roadway/highway design projects, . Design of roadways and highways to meet local, state and federal requirements, . Analysis and design of different highway components, . Maintain records of all design calculations, . Direct CAD team to prepare highway drawings, . Undertake detailed QA checks for design, calculations and drawings . Ensure compliance with Stantec\'s quality management process, . Support Lead Engineer in planning, analysis and design of a project, proposal preparation and project presentation, and . Ensure compliance with Stantec\'s quality management process . Assist in proposal preparation and project presentation . Ensure that road design project outcomes meet both the Stantec and client expectations Title: Road/Highway Engineer Qualifications: Person Specifications: . A Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering or Master\'s degree in Highway/Transportation Engineering . 7 -10 years of experience in highway engineering of which the candidate should have at least five years of experience working on UK projects. . Proficient use of all or one of the following o Civil 3D, MicroStation V8i/ InRoads / Open Roads. o Knowledge of 12D and / or Site3D is plus . Knowledge of Roadway Design Guides (DMRB UK or similar) . Ability to check the work of others for accuracy and completeness, . Ability to understand project requirements. Ability to take directions from senior engineers and execute them efficiently, . Technical knowledge in all relevant areas of highway design, . Proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite, . Effective communicator with excellent organization skills, and ability to work under tight schedules, . Ability to make decisions independently and strong problem resolutions skills, and . Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff and technical specialists.
