Job Overview:

We are looking for motivated and community-oriented Trainers to deliver road safety awareness sessions as part of a rural road safety initiative. The Trainer will work directly with target groups such as youth, women, panchayat members, roadside vendors, and other vulnerable road users to promote safe road behavior and reduce traffic-related injuries and fatalities.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct interactive and engaging road safety training sessions in local communities, using standardized modules and materials. Adapt delivery based on the target group (youth, women, vendors, etc.) to ensure relevance and impact. Use tools such as presentations, posters, games, and videos to communicate key messages effectively. Support mobilization efforts by encouraging participation from community members. Work closely with local leaders, SHGs, panchayats, and schools to organize sessions. Distribute educational materials such as reflective keychains, tapes, and posters during sessions. Ensure proper usage and understanding of materials by participants. Maintain attendance records and training session details as per the prescribed format. Share participant feedback, challenges, and field insights with the Project Coordinator regularly.

Profile Requisites:

Minimum qualification: graduate Prior experience in community training, awareness campaigns, or facilitation work is highly desirable Strong communication skills in Tamil (mandatory); ability to communicate basic points in English is a plus Comfortable working in rural field settings and engaging diverse community groups Energetic, empathetic, and confident in public speaking Willingness to travel locally within assigned villages Training and orientation will be provided before deployment

Remuneration:

Subject to relevant qualification, experience & merit; the consultancy fees range is 25000 to 30000 per month.
