Provide continuous medical care to all admitted patients in the ward.
Conduct regular patient rounds and monitor vitals, treatment progress, and nursing notes.
Ensure treatment is administered as per consultant doctor's instructions.
Attend to emergency cases in the ward and provide immediate medical intervention.
2. Coordination with Consultants & Nursing Team
Update consultants about significant changes in patient condition.
Assist consultants during rounds and implement their orders promptly.
Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure proper execution of treatment plans.
3. Documentation & Records
Maintain accurate and updated patient case sheets, progress notes, treatment records, and medication charts.
Ensure timely entry of all medical observations in HIS/EMR.
Complete discharge summaries in coordination with consultants.
