The Facilities Manager will be responsible for all fulfillment center operations facilities planning, and for managing our 3rd party service providers for maintenance and facilities services. This role will be based out of Mumbai, India.
Responsibilities:
xc2xb7 Responsible for the overall building and facilities maintenance (Reliability, Performance, Cost, etc.)
xc2xb7 Responsible for equipment maintenance (Trolleys, Conveyors, work stations, Labeling Machines, PLC control systems, electrical systems etc.) leading a team of 3rd party technicians
xc2xb7 Develop and apply Preventive Maintenance Routines on equipment.
xc2xb7 Develop and implement vendor AMCs with appropriate service levels for equipment
xc2xb7 Follow up required material purchasing with the Procurement Team
xc2xb7 Develop and implement a spare part identification and maintaining stock levels
xc2xb7 Provide feedback and analysis on equipment performance and availability
xc2xb7 Manage day to day issues on equipment with the Operations teams, defining Priorities with Operation, and organize the work with his team
xc2xb7 Responsible to manage a team of Maintenance technicians and 3rd party facilities service provider. Define goals, priorities, organized staff planning, staff training to ensure service levels.
xc2xb7 Responsible to keep people working in a safe environment, applying the Amazon Safety Policy and working with the Safety team to improve safety on site.
xc2xb7 Responsible for building housekeeping to keep the site within 5S standards

xc2xb7 Significant impactful experience in a similar role ideally in a fast-paced industrial, logistics, production or manufacturing environment
xc2xb7 Diploma holder (Engineer preferred)
xc2xb7 Results oriented approach with good analytical, team leadership and organizational skills
xc2xb7 Ability to work under pressure in a cross functional organization
xc2xb7 Ability to work with minimal supervision
xc2xb7 Electrical and Mechanical Background,
xc2xb7 Experience in HVAC installation, Sprinkler, general building equipment
xc2xb7 Experience of Subcontractor management to ensure quality of work
xc2xb7 Experience in troubleshooting installation, fault finding, and repairs
xc2xb7 Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
xc2xb7 Previous experience in a supervisory role managing people
xc2xb7 Computer skills (MS Office-required, CMMS, AUTOCAD - preferred etc.)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSBE/ Btec in Electrical/ Electronics/ Controls & Instrumentation with Strong experience managing qualified technicians and 3rd party service providers in facilities management
