Material Receipt & Storage:
Ensure receipt of raw materials as per approved purchase orders and delivery documents.
Verify material condition, quantity, labeling, and supplier details at the time of receipt.
Ensure proper quarantine, approved, rejected, and returned status segregation.
Maintain defined storage conditions (temperature, humidity) as per material requirements.
GMP & GDP Compliance:
Implement and follow GMP and Good Distribution Practices (GDP) in RM stores.
Ensure proper identification, color coding, and status labeling of materials.
Maintain cleanliness, pest control, and safety in the warehouse.
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate stock records in ERP / manual systems.
Follow FIFO / FEFO for material issuance.
Monitor stock levels, minimum-maximum limits, and expiry dates.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation.
Material Issuance & Traceability:
Issue materials only against authorized documents (MRN / Indent / BMR).
Ensure full traceability of materials from receipt to issuance.
Prevent mix-ups, cross-contamination, and material damage.
Documentation & Records:
Maintain inward, outward, stock registers, temperature & humidity records.
Ensure documentation accuracy and timely completion.
Support QA during audits with complete and traceable records.
Handling Deviations & Discrepancies:
Report and manage discrepancies, shortages, damages, or expired materials.
Coordinate with QA for investigation, disposal, or return of materials.
Support CAPA implementation related to store operations.
Audit & Inspection Support:
Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits (WHO, CDSCO, State FDA).
Ensure audit readiness of RM store area and documentation.
Implement corrective actions from audit observations.
Team Management & Training:
Supervise store staff and ensure adherence to SOPs.
Conduct GMP, safety, and SOP training for store personnel.
Maintain training and competency records.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure safe handling of materials including hazardous and controlled substances.
Follow EHS guidelines and warehouse safety norms.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate (B.Sc / B.Com / B.Pharm preferred)
Experience: 5-10 years experience in Pharmaceutical Stores / Warehouse
(Minimum 3-5 years as RM Store / Warehouse In-charge preferred)
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of GMP & GDP for warehouse operations
Inventory control and ERP handling
Documentation and record-keeping skills
Attention to detail and compliance mindset
Leadership and coordination abilities
Preferred Industry Exposure:
