Receive and verify raw materials from suppliers (quality, quantity, and documentation).
Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and storage of raw materials.
Monitor shelf life and FIFO/FEFO (First In, First Out / First Expiry, First Out) principles.
Handle materials like PP, PE, ABS, PC, Nylon, etc., with care according to MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) guidelines.
Maintain minimum stock levels to prevent production stoppages.
Regularly update and reconcile physical stock vs. system stock (SAP, ERP, Tally, etc.).
Conduct periodic stock audits and report discrepancies.
Issue raw materials to production as per production planning and job orders.
Maintain issue records with proper batch traceability.
Handle return of unused material and proper re-stacking.
Maintain records of material inward, outward, and stock registers.
Generate GRN (Goods Receipt Note), MRR (Material Receipt Report), issue slips, etc.
Ensure compliance with ISO, IATF, or other relevant quality systems.
Coordinate with purchase, quality, and production departments for timely material supply.
Liaise with suppliers/logistics for timely delivery and stock updates.
