We are seeking a River Screening Expert to join our team at 1010 Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for following specific criteria to do a river screening in different world regions.

About us
At our company, we are dedicated to using microalgae as a nature-based solution to capture atmospheric carbon. Our main concept is removing pollutants from rivers using native microalgae. In this process, microalgae perform photosynthesis and sequester CO2.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

-Perform a river research and river screening analysis following specific criteria.

-Perform data search and analysis using scientific papers, public databases, and public reports and other data sources.

-Upload data findings in Google Earth.

-Identify optimal rivers according to the defined criteria.

-Collaborate with our research team during the river screening.

-Communicate results and recommendations to our technical team and project managers.

Requirements

-BTech/Diploma/MSc in Environmental Sciences, Water Resources, Environmental Engineering, or a related field with a focus on natural resources.

-Ability to work independently and effectively.

-Experience in data analysis and reporting.

-Experience in Google Earth.

-Experience in Microsoft Office: mainly Excel.

-Excellent attention to detail.

-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

-Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members.

-High English level.
