Role/ Job Title: Risk Lead-Consumer Durable Loan
Function/ Department: Retail Business Risk
Job Purpose:
This role entails the responsibility to prepare and implement policies for the Consumer Durable business. The role holder's primary responsibility is to mitigate risk in the Consumer Durable businesses through robust customer segmentation actions, developing appropriate policies, delivering proactive portfolio actions, participating in developing strong digital led underwriting processes and run a very proactive forward looking portfolio management process.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Ensure that all requirements are fulfilled, and risks are mitigated while delivering a high-quality service to customers.
Identify early warnings and internal controls of portfolio.
Drafting and updating all policy documents for the business banking products in the bank
Ensure implementation of the policy to ensure high quality of the portfolio while meeting the target TAT.
Employ tools such as automation to increase process efficiency.
Collaborate with the respective teams to deliver rich analytics and data driven insights for the portfolios across through the door (TTD) metrics, credit metrics and collections metrics.
Partner with credit underwriting teams, sales teams, and product teams to understand market level developments and absorb market/portfolio feedback to proactively take policy actions.
Ensure the successful adoption of internal compliances & regulatory framework across the business.
Managing vendors who support risk processes.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Champion the adoption of high-quality market intelligence and data analytics to meet the bank's growth and profitability objectives.
Keep abreast with global market trends and competitor strategies in key markets.
Spearhead initiative to reduce operational costs and drive strategies to increase profitability.
Managerial and Leadership Responsibilities:
Monitor key parameters on productivity, hiring quality and attrition rates and make necessary improvements.
Champion IDFC First's customer first culture by driving the team to take up high degree servicing norms to ensure absolute customer delight.
Attract and retain best-in-class talent for key roles in their reporting structure.
Drive co-operation with the credit, technology, analytics, and risk teams to ensure smooth functioning of business.
Partner with Policies team to ensure all decisions are taken within the prescribed framework.
Education Qualification:
Graduation: Bachelor's degree any relevant stream
Post-graduation: Any Stream
Experience: 6-10 years of relevant experience.
