EY-Digital Risk- IT Stress Testing Review and Audit
The opportunity
We are looking for a manager with expertise in IT Performance Testing and Assessments/Framework Implementation to join the Digital Risk team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of our service offering.
Your key responsibilities

• Responsible for working with multiple client engagements and teams at a Senior level within the MENA region.
• Analyse regulatory guidance and expectations, risk governance, risk strategy and risk appetite, stress testing, as well as other items in the supervisory agenda
• Lead and deliver IT performance review, risk assessments, stress testing validation, and maturity evaluation across IT and IT Control Systems environments.
• Providing Performance Test Estimations
• Assess the client's current state of system capabilities and identify risks and subsequent recommendations.
• Review comprehensive test plans based on project business requirements and expected performance specifications.
• Validate detailed test cases covering both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Review automated test scripts based on user journey identified.
• Conduct performance testing to assess system scalability and reliability of systems as part of audit and maturity assessments.
• Document and report audit findings, including detailed steps to reproduce relevant logs and artifacts
• Maintain up-to-date test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and test results.
• Ensure clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders throughout the review lifecycle.
• Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their technical and professional development.
• Help develop/respond to go to market, RFP/RFI responses.
• Practice building
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong knowledge of IT and technology systems, which include industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA systems, OT technologies and other emerging technologies.
• Good understanding of how technology systems and devices interact with each other and how end user application work.
• Proficiency with performance testing tools and frameworks.
• Skilled manual performance tester using e.g. Apache JMeter, LoadRunner/NeoLoad, Chrome DevTools and Postman.
• Strong interest in shift-left testing and AI.
• Familiarity with bug/defect tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially in cross functional industrial settings.
• Experience with IT and IT enabled systems and technology performance testing.
• Analytical skills to screen through data and logs to identify the patterns indicative of system risk from performance and scalability perspective.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical colleagues and stakeholders.
• Demonstrating and applying strong project management skills, inspiring teamwork, and responsibility with engagement team members
• Relevant certifications are desirable.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A bachelor's degree
• A minimum of 10-15 years of experience working as IT risk and testing professional with IT/IS/OT internal audit background in a professional services firm.
• Excellent communication skills with consulting experience preferred.
• A valid passport for travel.

Ideally, you'll also have

• B. Tech/ B.E. / B.Sc. / M. Sc. in Computer Applications / Engineering, or a related discipline.
• CISA, CISSP, ISO 27001 (anyone certification is preferred)
