Role Overview :
The Contract Risk & Compliance Manager will be responsible for safeguarding the company from contractual, financial, and delivery risks by actively managing contracts, monitoring compliance, and maintaining strong documentation to support claims, extensions of time (EOT), and dispute avoidance.
This is a senior, high-responsibility role requiring deep experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Contract Review & Clause Extraction
Review complete contracts and extract all obligations, risks, and dependencies.
Identify critical, high-risk, and time-sensitive clauses.
Prepare and maintain a
Clause Control Sheet
detailing responsibilities, deadlines, risks, and mitigation actions.
2. Contract Compliance & Weekly Monitoring
Track compliance across design, approvals, submittals, procurement, manufacturing, delivery, and installation.
Coordinate with internal teams to assign and close contract-linked actions.
Prepare a
Weekly Contract Early Warning Report
(Red / Amber / Green status).
3. Communication & Documentation
Draft formal contractual communications, including emails, letters, notices, and delay notifications.
Ensure all documentation protects Bluestream from delay liquidated damages (LDs) and contractual exposure.
Maintain structured, evidence-based records for claims, EOTs, and dispute prevention.
4. Variations & Claims Support
Monitor scope changes and identify potential variations.
Support management with justification documents for claims, additional costs, and time extensions.
