About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Market Risk Specialist.The role involves supporting new development needs to meet CMRG's strategic plans to improve infrastructure. Role also involves developing new analytical tools and solutions to help the risk manager's best manage risk. The role also requires supporting new and existing analytical capabilities and liaising with market risk officers.

In this role, you will:

• Supporting new analytical developments needs to meet CMRG's strategic plans to improve infrastructure.
• To help develop new analytical solutions needed to allow the risk manager to best manage risks
• Develop, monitor and analyze forward looking analysis for BAU risk management and where needed capital analysis
• Help support new and existing analytical capabilities by analyzing results and discuss findings with MRO team
• Active collaboration on various projects with stakeholders and onshore partners

Required Qualifications, International:

• 5+ years of experience in relevant field
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Self-starter with strong problem solving skills
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Exhibit strong aptitude in SQL, Python, VBA and or other computer programming languages
• Advanced MS Office skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Familiarity with GitHub
• Experience in market risk, capital markets, portfolio management
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and/or Financial Risk Management Certificate (FRM)
