Department Overview Consumer lending finance group brings together enterprise functions that drive Wells Fargo\'s financial management, including accounting and control, financial planning and analysis, line of business finance, asset-liability management, treasury, tax management, and the company\'s investment portfolios. About the Role Responsible for performing and leading activities related to creation, implementation, documentation, and on-going maintenance of daily/weekly/monthly operations of data extracts and reports delivery. Supports implementation of moderate to complex projects/initiatives. Understands compliance and risk management requirements for supported area. Candidate will interact with internal and external to LOB team members and provide technical solutions in reporting. As part of the Capital Markets Finance Analysis and Controls (CMFACA) team within Capital Markets Finance (CMF), this position will support Correspondent business line and Capital Markets Specialty Services focused on reporting, analysis and forecasting. This position will require significant and specific business knowledge as well. In this role, you will: Provide reporting on a weekly and monthly basis to support discussions and business decisions for the Correspondent line of business. Support Forecasting process for Correspondent and Capital Markets specialty services Help streamline and automate Correspondent reporting and analysis using tools such as Power B Provide companywide advice and technical expertise on matters related to complex financial analysis as well as economic research in support of management decision making functions Research strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planning Provide support to more experienced professionals in the management of product pricing, portfolio performance, closing research and validation Review technical challenges that require evaluation or multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors Meet deliverables and drive new initiatives with solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals Responsibilities Extensive Experience in creating reports and dashboards in Power BI Strong Experience in working with different data sources Strong Experience in designing Power BI models and deploying them to Power BI Service Strong Experience in using DAX functions, custom visualizations Strong Experience in implementing Row Level Security and reports scheduling Extensive Experience in working with Essbase Strong Experience in working with Teradata and ability to run DDL and DML queries. Strong knowledge of SQL to analyze data and derive data points/conclusions. Experience with any interfaces such as TOAD, SQL Navigator, and SQL Developer. Experience in developing, troubleshooting complex SQL Queries and optimize. Solid understanding of Business Intelligence projects throughout the entire lifecycle, from design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance Run unit testing and validation of Business Objects reports and universes Develop report prototypes and review and fine tune report deliverables with team Review requirements and translate into technical tasks to meet system specifications Collaborate with Business SMEs, team and other support teams to develop and implement the solution Strong analytical and critical thinking skills combined with strategic business focus and ability to lead from the front. Interact / coordinate with different teams to proactively raise any specific issues or challenges around the business and work independently with the concerned teams to resolve issues. Candidate should ensure faster turnaround time on query handling and ad-hocs if any, with good understanding of change management and its likely impacts and consequences. Provide detailed analysis, trend analysis and high level recommendations. Should proactively call out for issues / challenges and come out with solutions. Performing most complex variance and trend analyses communicating and providing guidance to business partners regarding relevant financial policies Ability to perform complex analyses, build financial models, draw conclusions, and communicate recommendations to business leaders. Essential Qualifications A BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis with 8+ years of post-qualification experience. Ability to effectively collaborate with business partners Candidate should have good exposure to handling work flow applications, be good with BO and or BI Tools and or similar applications. Good expertise in Data Lineage, data flow / architecture and data quality. Ability to take initiative and be innovative, Experience in SQL, Essbase Excellent problem solving/analytical skills Demonstrate strong analytical skills and develop solutions to problems independently and through facilitated team discussions. Prioritizes workload, multi-tasks, meets deadlines and manages competing priorities under pressure Have good knowledge in VB, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, MS Access, SAS with experience in Agile Candidate should have good financial modelling, template building, dashboard and presentation skills as this will really help in transforming the reports to the next level. Ability to work both independently and within team environment. Ability to distribute the tasks efficiently. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to perform complex analyses, build financial models, draw conclusions, and communicate recommendations to business leaders. Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with critical deadlines. Advanced knowledge of Excel, Macros, Business Intelligence tools and Power point. Desired Qualifications Able to Work with Technology and business teams to understand requirements, conduct analysis and communicate solution options.
