Department Overview Consumer lending finance group brings together enterprise functions that drive Wells Fargo\'s financial management, including accounting and control, financial planning and analysis, line of business finance, asset-liability management, treasury, tax management, and the company\'s investment portfolios. Key portfolios include Business facing finance support for Home Lending (Production, Servicing, Capital Markets, Pricing, & FP&A activities) About the Role Responsible for collaborating with HL finance around requirements for automation projects, performing and leading activities related to creation, implementation, documentation and testing. Supports implementation of moderate to complex projects/initiatives. Understands compliance and risk management requirements for supported area. Candidate will interact with internal and external to LOB team members and provide technical solutions in reporting. Responsibilities Extensive Experience in creating reports and dashboards in Power BI Strong Experience in working with different data sources Strong Experience in designing Power BI models and deploying them to Power BI Service Strong Experience in using DAX functions, custom visualizations Strong Experience in implementing Row Level Security and reports scheduling Extensive Experience in working with Essbase Strong Experience in working with Teradata and ability to run DDL and DML queries. Experience in developing, troubleshooting complex SQL Queries and optimize. Experiencing in deriving data points/conclusions based on analysis. Experience with any interfaces such as TOAD, SQL Navigator, and SQL Developer. Experience in developing, troubleshooting complex SQL Queries and optimize. Solid understanding of Business Intelligence projects throughout the entire lifecycle, from design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance. Responsible for ideating and providing high quality Analytical solutions which focuses on current and predictive business strategies using new age tools. Responsible for performing Descriptive and Prescriptive analysis. Responsible for Collaborating with leaders to assess opportunities to drive business productivity. Responsible for Reviewing requirements and translate into technical tasks to meet system specifications. Responsible for looking into automation opportunities in every aspect of the project. Responsible for reviewing existing procedures develop recommendation for process enhancement. Build out automated solutions to replace MS Access dependencies. Develop report prototypes and review and fine tune report deliverables with team. Collaborate with Business SMEs, team, and other support teams to develop and implement the solution Strong analytical and critical thinking skills combined with strategic business focus and ability to lead from the front. Interact / coordinate with different teams to proactively raise any specific issues or challenges around the business and work independently with the concerned teams to resolve issues. Candidate should ensure faster turnaround time on query handling and ad-hocs if any, with good understanding of change management and its likely impacts and consequences. Provide detailed analysis, trend analysis and high-level recommendations. Should proactively call out for issues / challenges and come out with solutions. Performing most complex variance and trend analyses communicating and providing guidance to business partners regarding relevant financial policies Ability to perform complex analyses, build financial models, draw conclusions, and communicate recommendations to business leaders. Essential Qualifications A BE/B.Tech degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis with 5+ years of post-qualification experience. Candidate should have the below skills Coding based ETL Skills - Power Query, SQL. UI based Visualization & ETL - Power BI (mandatory)/ Tableau, Alteryx, Knime. DB: SQL Server/Teradata SharePoint, VBA, RPA, Power Point, Excel Macros, MS Access. Ability to effectively collaborate with business partners Candidate should have good exposure to handling workflow applications, be good with PowerBI/Tableau and or BI Tools and or similar applications. Good expertise in Data Lineage, data flow / architecture and data quality. Ability to take initiative and be innovative, Experience in SQL, Essbase Excellent problem solving/analytical skills Demonstrate strong analytical skills and develop solutions to problems independently and through facilitated team discussions. Prioritizes workload, multi-tasks, meets deadlines and manages competing priorities under pressure Candidate should have good financial modelling, template building, dashboard and presentation skills as this will really help in transforming the reports to the next level. Ability to work both independently and within team environment. Ability to distribute the tasks efficiently. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to perform complex analyses, build financial models, draw conclusions, and communicate recommendations to business leaders. Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with critical deadlines. Desired Qualifications Able to Work with Technology and business teams to understand requirements, conduct analysis and communicate solution options.
