Risk Analyst/Credit Underwriter - Real Estate - NBFC - CA

CREDENTIALS :

1. Professional qualification (CA/MBA) with 1-4 years of total experience in Real estate Credit or Credit Risk management

2. Must have a strong credit background and knowledge of Real Estate industry practices

3. Must be self driven and have strong leadership attributes

4. Must have good people management, networking and relationship building skills

5. Must have experience in leading business critical projects

RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Provide independent challenge and oversight in respect of the credit origination and portfolio monitoring activities of the real estate finance business

2. Regular review of real estate finance portfolio

3. Pick on the early warning signals from the real estate finance portfolio and provide rigorous action governance for the mitigating actions

4. Ensure adequacy of provisioning monthly through Board approved methodologies/ policies under the Expected Credit Loss (ECL) methodology for all credit portfolios of the organization

5. Ensure the ECL methodology including the assumptions along with underlying data analysis and the backup documentation for ECL computation stands to the scrutiny of the statutory auditors and the regulators

6. Oversee implementation of strategic plans to mitigate liquidity and interest rate risks

7. Evaluate periodically whether risk management practices are in line with the policies

8. Effectively report of risks and mitigation actions to the top management/ ALCO/ RMC

9. Develop strong relationship with key stakeholders and business partners by discussing addressing issues/concerns in timely manner.

10. Build a strong risk culture in the organization through awareness trainings

11. Work on special projects as may be assigned from time to time.
