Rigger / Scaffolder

:

Aligning, levelling, and anchoring machinery

Attaching loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving with the use of hand and power tools

Ensuring that rigging equipment is dismantled and properly stored after use

Carrying out tests on rigging equipment occasionally to ensure safety and reliability

Communicating with workers that are engaged in the process of hoisting and moving loads, to ensure the safety of workers and materials

Ensuring that all work scope is completed safely

Strictly adhering to safety regulations and precautions

Overseeing the process of tearing down, cleaning, and storing of any rigging equipment or machinery used in moving.

Assessing the type of scaffold necessary and planning the layout according to the project specifications.

Checking the Site conditions and preparing the foundation needed for scaffolding installation.

Fixing the scaffolding structures and Erecting the scaffolding poles.

Ensuring that scaffolding platforms are solid, safe and well-guarded.

Dismantling scaffolding activities.

Conducting regular safety checks and maintenance of scaffolding equipment.

Rigger/Scaffolder Requirements - Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities for Career Success

Physical fitness: Riggers and Scaffolders must have the physical capacity to lift heavy loads with ease since the job involves manual labour

Profound commercial driving experience: Some employers require their riggers to drive trucks that transport heavy materials and machinery, and this demands a commercial driver's license

Well-developed communication and teamwork skills, must work on a team and must also communicate clearly and effectively to ensure that everything runs smoothly

Concern for safety: Rigger / Scaffolder must pay special and particular attention to safety

At least a High School diploma or equivalent, including specialized training in rigging and scaffolding techniques and practices.

Experience in Oil and Gas Industry is must.

Salary 22000 to 30,000 Per Month (Includes PF, Allowance, Insurance etc.)
