Leave schedule: 60 days after 24 monthsr r The responsibility of a drilling rig Operator is to maintain and operate drilling equipment at a well site. They maintain and operate drilling fluid systems and pumps during the drilling process. Rig operators are responsible for operating drilling rigs, wellheads, and other equipment used in the extraction of oil, natural gas, or minerals. They monitor gauges and indicators to ensure that everything is running smoothly and safely. Mostly working at gas and oil companies, a Drill Operator operates drilling equipment and machinery. The specific responsibilities depend on the employer, but mostly, a Drill Operator manages staff, measures and marks drilling spots, performs regular checks, conducts assessments, and many more.r r Rig Operator is responsible for operation of the rig, crew, and equipment and for ensuring customer satisfaction with all services rendered. Ensures that all crew are at the rig and ready to work at scheduled time. Being a Rig Operator maintains productivity standards for all rig functions. Maintains a safe working environment and ensures compliance of applicable regulations and policies. Additionally, Rig Operator may require a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Rig Operator supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Rig Operator typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.
