R-Flows & Technology Incubation

A purpose driven role for you

Coordinate & work closely within I&UM & CoCs to deliver R&D research flows & Xflows

Visualizing and generating feasible design concepts in 3D/2D for Rflow, Xflows & Innovation Concepts, while considering quality, weight, and cost targets.

Conducting design and/or layout studies of 2-wheeler vehicle systems such as structures, wheels, brakes, body, and/or suspension systems, ensuring proper integration with adjacent systems.

Managing all system and vehicle-level validation for fitment and conducting Proof of Concept (PoC) trials for Rflow, Concepts, and Innovation Ideas.

A Day in the life

Perform R-Flows, vis-a-vis D-Flow

Ensure the R-Flow Gate process, and evaluation metrics and deliverables for each R-Flow gate

Ensure up-to-date tracking of R-Flows to bring visibility for deployment in D-Flows

Define SoR for new Rflow & establish new/impactful Rflow that help HMCL gain strategic edge.

Initiate & Review the progress of R-Flows

Tech exploration & Innovation for newer technologies/ applications

Generate IP for new Technologies with internal/external stakeholders for new technologies

Academic Qualification & Experience

6-8 yrs experience in R&D with relevant CoC

Hands-on design experience & Vehicle integration with experience in new technology execution

Start-up or Tier 1 experience is desirable.

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Analytical and Financial understanding to evaluate projects in terms of business metrics

Assertively able to communicate the cause & solutions Detail Oriented and Timeline driven: Able to define deliverables objectively and with clear timelines.

Innovation oriented mindset & self-drive for technology incubation. Tech orientation for effective interactions with technical CoCs.

Behavioural Skills

Strong communication & presenttaion Skills, Negotiation Skills, Stakeholder Management, Influencing Skills
