We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Wire Harness and Coax Technician to join our
production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly and testing
of RF cable assemblies, primarily for military and defense applications with some wire
harnesses also possible. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with a solid foundation
in coax & wire harness manufacturing who is eager to contribute to high-stakes projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Build RF cable assemblies by following engineering drawings, schematics, and work
instructions.
Perform tasks including wire cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and terminating.
Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools specific to wire harness
assembly & RF / coax cable assembly
[Mandatory] Crimping, soldering and terminating RG, LMR series of cable
assemblies
Conduct basic continuity and functional testing on completed assemblies.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with quality standards and production
schedules.
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: 3-5 years of demonstrable experience in manufacturing wire harnesses
for defence & aerospace
Technical Proficiency:
o Expertise in SMA, N, TNC connectorization with RG cables like RG316, RG174
and LMR195, LMR240, LMR400
o Plus point is experience in RG405, RG402 equivalent cables and LMR600
cables
o Demonstrated proficiency with military-grade connectors, including but not
limited to Circular (e.g., MIL-DTL-38999), D-Subminiature, Micro-D, and Nano D connectors, Molex connectors
o Solid understanding of soldering techniques for high-reliability applications.
o Basic knowledge of tools - ability to correctly identify tools for different
crimps based on datasheet or experience
Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, excellent manual dexterity, and a high level of
precision.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a
collaborative team
