Job Description

ViewRay Systems is currently seeking an RF Coil Engineer, who will share our passion for conquering cancer and help us develop systems novel cancer therapy systems.

Responsibilities

:

Design MRI RF coils and interfaces

Contribute to the design of the MRI spectrometer and interface PCBs.

Perform hands on prototyping for concepts or test fixtures as necessary.

Provide technical support to external design and manufacturing partners.

Demonstrate willingness to learn about the components within the system, and various aspects of engineering the product from design to production.

Be hands-on during various system components and their integration within the system.

Understand and follow ViewRay Systems design control practices

Identify and analyze risks for the users and patients, evaluate the mitigation requirements for various scenarios as part of the risk assessment documentation.

Required Qualifications

Master's degree in electrical engineering with 2+ years of industry experience or related field or Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of industry experience.

Strong background in Electromagnetics

Proven experience using Matlab.

Education / experience related to Radio Frequency design

Aptitude in root cause investigation and problem analysis

Ability to produce technical documentation

Preferred Qualifications

Experience designing RF coils for MRI systems, preferably low field.

Experience / familiarity with regulated environment and design controls

Experience with E&M simulation software, i.e., Faraday, Ansys, COMSOL.
