Job Description

The Revit Electrical Modeler will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit. The role involves developing layouts for electrical systems, coordinating with other disciplines, and ensuring compliance with project and BIM standards. The position requires a strong understanding of electrical design principles, construction documentation, and model coordination within a multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed electrical Revit models (lighting, power, fire alarm, data, and low-voltage systems). Create and manage electrical layouts, cable routing, panel schedules, and circuiting in Revit. Coordinate electrical systems with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to resolve clashes. Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, and documentation directly from Revit models. Update and maintain project models based on design changes, RFIs, and markups. Follow company BIM standards, templates, and workflows to ensure consistency. Assist BIM Coordinators or BIM Managers in implementing the BIM Execution Plan (BEP). Participate in project coordination meetings to ensure smooth multidisciplinary collaboration. Maintain organized model data and ensure documentation accuracy for project deliverables.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 2-5 years of experience in Revit Electrical modeling within MEP/BIM projects. Proficiency in

Autodesk Revit (Electrical)

and

AutoCAD

. Knowledge of

BIM 360

,

Navisworks

, and

clash detection workflows

preferred. Understanding of electrical design concepts and construction practices (lighting, power distribution, earthing, etc.). Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
