About the Role:

Milta Accounting Services is seeking a detail-oriented

US Accounts Reviewer

to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of accounting records for US-based clients.

The role involves reviewing

general ledger entries

,

financial statements

,

P&L statements

,

balance sheets

, and

cash flow reports

, ensuring alignment with

US GAAP

standards. This position is ideal for candidates with strong analytical skills and experience in

financial auditing and reconciliation

for US clients.

Responsibilities:

Provide

guidance and support

to staff members involved in accounting and bookkeeping tasks. Oversee and manage

financial data entry, reconciliation, and reporting

in QuickBooks for multiple clients. Co-ordinate with clients to

set up and customize QuickBooks

according to their specific needs and industry requirements. Provide comprehensive

accounting and financial advisory services

to clients, leveraging QuickBooks expertise. Prepare, review, and

analyze financial statements

, P&L statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, and other financial reports. Demonstrate

initiative, vision, creativity, and independent thinking

to improve accounting processes. Identify and resolve potential or existing problems, conducting research and consulting the US engagement team when necessary. Act as a

liaison between US offices and the India team

to ensure smooth communication and workflow. Manage

multiple clients/projects

simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Work closely with management, alerting them of any issues, constraints, or challenges during workflow. Maintain

industry-specific standards

for financial accuracy, reporting, and compliance.

Skills and Requirements:

Strong knowledge of US GAAP, accounting principles, and financial review standards. Experience in

QuickBooks

Online/Desktop

, Xero, SAP, or similar accounting software. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and business advisory skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interaction. Ability to mentor and review work of junior accountants. Capable of working independently and managing multiple client accounts

Nice to have

Experience in

US accounting outsourcing (BPO/KPO)

or review processes. Familiarity with

industry-specific accounting practices

. Knowledge of payroll, sales, or tax-related reconciliation for US clients
