About the Role
Your role involves providing support to the Central Group Reservations & Revenue department of the client. As Revenue Analyst, you would be intelligently analysing and presenting financial, competitive and industry data that will help the Revenue & Sales teams to make well-informed. You will assist with generating and compiling data, producing reports, and providing general and administrative support to revenue management leadership to maximize revenues.
In addition, you will also be providing support to the Reservations team in receiving and processing reservation requests, updating and maintaining the database and the property management system.
KRAs
Revenue Analyst
Prepare daily revenue reports & dashboards with key revenue metrics for the day and the forecasts, including Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, daily pickups for multiple sites.
Collect and analyse competitive data and strategies and report on the same
Evaluating site-wise performance based on Comp set data & STR intelligence.
Proactively give pricing recommendations & reasoning for rate modifications
Monitor and maintain an up-to-date calendar of demand drivers
Regularly audit content across all channels of distribution
Regularly audit rates to ensure parity across all channels of distribution
Assist with data reporting to STR
Assist with preparing reports which monitor production of promotions and general revenue
Assist with preparing rate contracts
Assist revenue management leadership with other duties as requested
Process documentation & adherence.
Reservation Support
Provide ongoing support to the Reservation team for:
Processing reservation requests & modifications.
Clearing backlog and urgent requests
Drafting accurate communication regarding policies, cancellation terms, commission terms etc to clients and travel agents.
Creating, maintaining & managing group blocks, rooming lists, and reservations, group block notes & block release in the PMS.
Provide analytical reports on groups, arrival, inventory, cancellations & other reservation metrics.
Candidate Requirements
Required:
Minimum 2 years' experience in Revenue Analysis & and Reservation support for Star/Branded Hotels
Experience on working with a Cloud-based Hotel Reservation Management System
Experience in analysing competitor data sets & insights on a regular basis
Excellent analytical skills and ability to slice and dice data meaningfully
Possess excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Ability to work in a collaborative work environment with quick turnaround time
Ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion
Independently handle and delivery client priorities.
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel. Expertise with databases, macros & advanced formulae will be added advantage.
Preferable:
Experience in working on RMS, Delphi FDC, IDS, Opera or similar platforms and/or other Property Management Systems.
