We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Retail Sales Trainer to join our Training & Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting on-field store training, evaluating staff performance, organizing training sessions for new joiners and existing staff, and generating regular activity reports. This role requires flexibility to travel and a proactive approach to developing store-level competencies.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Field Store Training & Evaluation
Conduct hands-on training sessions directly in stores for front-line staff.
Assess and evaluate in-store team performance against training objectives and SOPs.
Identify knowledge or skill gaps and provide immediate coaching.
General Training Sessions
Design and deliver scheduled training sessions on customer service, sales techniques, product knowledge, and operations.
Update training materials regularly based on operational and product updates.
New Joiners Training
Conduct induction and onboarding programs for new hires.
Ensure new employees understand company values, policies, systems, and retail expectations.
Monitor and support their early performance to ensure smooth integration.
Store Visits & Travel
Be open and willing to travel to different store locations as needed.
Provide support to underperforming stores or newly opened branches.
Schedule regular follow-up visits for on-site reinforcement training.
Staff Evaluation
Perform periodic evaluations of store employees based on pre-defined KPIs.
Provide feedback to store managers and HR based on training impact and staff growth.
Contribute to succession planning by identifying high-potential employees.
Daily Activity & Reporting
Maintain detailed records of training sessions, attendance, feedback, and outcomes.
Generate and submit daily/weekly reports on training activities and store observations.
Use reports to highlight areas for improvement and suggest actionable plans.
