: Shoppers Stop is looking to hire an enthusiastic Retail Trainee Associate to join our team and contribute to the success of our stores. The incumbent must have a positive attitude and be a team player, as well as being able to provide an excellent customer service experience. The Retail Trainee Associate is responsible for providing accurate and efficient customer service, maintaining store inventory and merchandising, running the cash register, informing customers about special offers and promotions, and other tasks as required. Prepare and process customer orders, including shipments, returns, and exchanges. 2. Greet customers, answer questions, make suggestions, and provide advice on merchandise. 3. Operate cash registers to process payments and take returns. 4. Understand and use current promotional and pricing strategies. 5. Receive and check incoming inventory. 6. Stock shelves and organize merchandise. 7. Assist store personnel in maintaining store standards. 8. Assist with inventory controls and document losses, damages, and discrepancies. 9. Maintain clean and tidy work areas and check displays for accuracy. 10. Participate in training of new employees. Responsibilities: 1. Provide excellent customer service to promote customer loyalty. 2. Handle customer complaints and resolve disputes in a professional and timely manner. 3. Track and communicate sales results and customer feedback to management. 4. Monitor competitors and keep up-to-date on industry trends and sales techniques. 5. Assist with marketing and promotional activities, including displays and sales. 6. Adhere to store policies and procedures.
