Job Purpose

To manage end-to-end
store operations with a strong focus on sales performance and inventory control
, ensuring excellent customer experience, efficient stock management, and achievement of business targets.
Key Responsibilities
------------------------
1. Sales & Customer Experience
Drive store sales in line with monthly and annual targets.
Ensure superior customer service and resolve customer queries or escalations effectively.
Guide and motivate the sales team to achieve conversion and revenue goals.
Monitor daily sales performance, footfall, and conversion ratios.
Implement promotional activities and ensure proper in-store execution.
2. Store Operations & Inventory Management
Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing procedures.
Ensure accurate stock receipt, storage, and issuance of materials/products.
Monitor inventory levels, stock ageing, and replenishment planning.
Conduct regular stock audits and ensure variance control.
Maintain proper documentation for inward/outward movement of stock.
3. Team Management
Supervise and train sales executives, store assistants, and support staff.
Prepare duty rosters and manage attendance.
Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching.
Ensure discipline, grooming standards, and adherence to company policies.
4. Financial & MIS Control
Monitor daily cash, billing, and reconciliation processes.
Prepare and review sales and inventory MIS reports.
Control operational costs and prevent pilferage or losses.
Coordinate with accounts for billing, invoicing, and reconciliations.
5. Compliance & Process Adherence
Ensure adherence to company SOPs, audit requirements, and statutory norms.
Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and visual merchandising standards.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal controls.

Qualification
Graduate in any discipline (MBA / Retail Management preferred)
Experience
8-10 years of experience in:
Retail sales operations
Store / inventory management
Prior experience as a Store Manager or Senior Store Executive preferred
Skills & Competencies
Strong sales acumen and customer-handling skills
Hands-on experience in inventory control and store audits
Good leadership and team management skills
Proficiency in MS Excel, POS systems, and ERP software
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
