What started as a humble garage sale is now a one-of-a-kind thrift and consignment store in Bandra. Bombay Closet Cleanse is a women-led space where sustainable fashion meets community, purpose, and a whole lot of pre-loved magic.

We source our pieces from closets around the world -- donors, resellers, surplus suppliers -- and turn them into curated collections for people who love fashion and care about the planet. From statement vintage to affordable everyday wear, our store is a treasure hunt with heart.

About the Role

We're looking for someone who gets joy from order, clarity, and good vibes on the shop floor. Someone who knows how to keep things running smoothly -- without losing the human touch. As Retail Store Manager, you'll be the go-to person at the store: managing staff, handling billing, overseeing inventory, and making sure our customers feel welcome and cared for.

You don't need to be a fashion expert -- just someone who enjoys the world of style, appreciates sustainability, and knows how to manage a space with calm and confidence.

What You'll Be Doing

Handle all customer billing and POS transactions

Tally daily sales and cash, and flag discrepancies if any

Delegate and support your team during shifts

Oversee inventory movement -- intake, tagging, display, returns

Help track stock levels and minimize losses

Make sure the store looks great -- clean, styled, and inviting

Support customers with care and clarity

Share end-of-day reports and insights with management

Who You Are

You're someone who can hold a store together -- whether that means solving a billing issue, assigning tasks, or setting the tone for the day. You're dependable, communicative, and enjoy making sure everyone's aligned and accountable.

You're also not afraid of spreadsheets, unexpected problems, or styling a mannequin when needed. You bring warmth to your leadership, and you value structure without being rigid.

What We're Looking For

1-3 years of experience in retail, operations, or team supervision

Strong attention to detail and solid communication skills

A love for people and the ability to manage with empathy

Comfort with POS systems and basic daily tallying

A proactive, problem-solving mindset

Interest in fashion and circular economy practices

Location: Bandra, Mumbai

Timing: 12 PM - 9 PM | 5 Days a Week (Weekends are working)

Experience: 1-3 years in retail, ops, or team management

Note: Weekends are working and no leaves on weekends will be approved

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
