The Retail Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the luxury bag store, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, achieving sales targets, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and managing a motivated and high-performing team. The role demands a blend of business acumen, customer relationship management, and a refined understanding of the luxury retail segment.
Key Responsibilities:1. Sales & Business Development
Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual store sales targets.
Monitor and analyze sales performance, customer preferences, and market trends.
Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
Upsell and cross-sell luxury products to enhance the average transaction value.
2. Customer Experience & Relationship Management
Deliver a world-class luxury retail experience aligned with brand values.
Maintain long-term relationships with VIP and repeat clients through personalized service.
Handle customer complaints with professionalism and ensure prompt resolution.
Organize in-store events, product launches, and exclusive client engagements.
3. Store Operations
Oversee all operational aspects of the store, including inventory, cash handling, and visual merchandising.
Ensure the store adheres to brand presentation and cleanliness standards.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the supply team for replenishment.
Maintain accurate records of sales, returns, and inventory movements.
4. Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, train, and mentor store associates to deliver exceptional service.
Set individual sales targets and motivate the team to achieve them.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching.
Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and brand loyalty.
5. Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with company policies, operational guidelines, and statutory requirements.
Prepare and present daily/weekly/monthly reports on sales, footfall, and key metrics.
Manage budgets, minimize shrinkage, and control store expenses effectively.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Retail Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 3-6 years of experience
in luxury retail, preferably with premium fashion, bags, or accessories brands.
Proven track record in sales and team leadership.
Strong knowledge of luxury customer service standards and CRM tools.
Skills & Attributes:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Polished appearance and refined grooming suitable for a luxury retail environment.
Strong leadership, motivation, and conflict-resolution skills.
