management. You will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, leading a high-performing team, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving overall store performance.
Key Responsibilities
:
Store Operations
Manage end-to-end daily store operations including opening, closing, and safety protocols
Ensure effective visual merchandising and strategic product placement to boost sales
Uphold store hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards
Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Ensure timely ordering, receiving, and storage of fresh produce and FMCG items
Team Leadership & Staff Management
Hire, train, and mentor store staff to build a capable and motivated team
Create shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing during all hours
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching
Encourage teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
Foster a positive, respectful, and growth-focused work culture
Customer Service Excellence
Ensure the highest standards of customer service are maintained
Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Train staff on customer engagement, product knowledge, and service skills
Implement loyalty programs and customer retention strategies
Inventory & Supply Chain Management
Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock availability across all categories
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and quality deliveries
Implement stock rotation and FIFO practices for perishables
Minimize wastage and shrinkage through accurate inventory control
Conduct regular stock checks and maintain precise inventory records
Sales & Financial Management
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales and profitability targets
Analyze sales performance and implement growth strategies
Manage store budget, operating expenses, and cost controls
Oversee POS operations, cash handling, and daily reconciliations
Generate and review sales and operational reports regularly
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Maintain freshness, presentation, and quality standards of all products
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards
Implement proper handling, storage, and display of perishable items
Monitor expiry dates and manage FIFO processes
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Achievement of sales and profit targets
Customer satisfaction and feedback scores
Staff productivity, training compliance, and retention
Inventory turnover and reduction in wastage/shrinkage
Store cleanliness, merchandising, and operational audit scores
Compliance with quality, hygiene, and safety standards
