Citykart Retail is seeking a creative and technically skilled

Retail Store Layout Designer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in retail design, with expertise in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. This role involves designing efficient and customer-centric retail layouts, developing technical drawings, and supporting on-site implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

Retail Layout Design:

Create functional 2D and 3D store layouts, focusing on customer flow, product visibility, and optimal space utilization.

Fixture & Space Planning:

Design customized fixtures, furniture, and display units in line with brand aesthetics and retail standards.

Technical Drawings:

Develop detailed construction and electrical drawings for store development and renovations.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with architects, project managers, and visual merchandisers to transform retail concepts into execution-ready plans.

On-Site Support:

Participate in site visits and coordinate with contractors to ensure proper implementation of designs.

CAD File Management:

Maintain organized design files, drawings, and version controls for easy reference and updates.

Design Accuracy:

Ensure all designs meet brand standards, safety regulations, and feasibility checks.

Innovation:

Stay current with trends in retail design, tools, and materials to improve layout efficiency and appeal.

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience:

4-6 years in retail/interior design, particularly in layout planning and fixture development.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in

AutoCAD

(2D & 3D) Working knowledge of

SolidWorks

or equivalent 3D modeling software

Design Knowledge:

Understanding of retail design principles, customer navigation, and store aesthetics.

Communication:

Strong ability to present and explain layout concepts and technical drawings.

Site Coordination:

Experience working on-site during layout execution is preferred.
