Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Dispensing Medications:

Preparing and dispensing prescription medications, ensuring accuracy in dosage and labelling.

Patient Counselling:

Educating patients about their medications, including proper administration, potential side effects, and interactions.

Medication Therapy Management:

Collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize medication regimens, monitor for drug interactions, and address any medication-related issues.

Quality Assurance:

Ensuring the quality and safety of medications, including monitoring inventory, conducting quality control tests, and reporting adverse reactions.

Health Screenings:

Providing basic health screenings, such as blood pressure checks, cholesterol monitoring, and diabetes assessments.

Vaccination Administration:

Administering various vaccinations, such as flu shots.

Pharmacy Management:

Managing pharmacy operations, including inventory control, financial management, and staff supervision. Software stock management, purchase, sales etc.

Compliance:

Adhering to regulatory guidelines and ethical standards in pharmacy practice.
