Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Sales
Greet walk-in customers warmly, build rapport, and understand their jewellery requirements.
Recommend suitable jewellery pieces based on customer preferences, budget, and occasion.
Use suggestive selling, cross-selling, and upselling techniques to maximize sales.
Meet or exceed individual and store sales targets.
Product Knowledge & Advisory
Maintain deep knowledge of the jewellery catalog including gold, diamond, platinum, and gemstone collections.
Explain product features, hallmarking, making charges, certifications, and care instructions.
Stay updated on new designs, seasonal trends, and special collections.
Store Operations
Assist in merchandising and display of jewellery counters to ensure an attractive and customer-friendly presentation.
Help manage inventory: stock counting, back-stock maintenance, tagging, and reconciliation.
Ensure the sales counter and showroom are clean, organized, and compliant with brand SOPs.
Billing & Documentation
Support the billing process, ensuring accurate invoicing and customer details capture.
Assist in order documentation for custom or special jewellery pieces.
Handle customer exchanges or returns professionally, following company policy.
Customer Service & Follow-up
Address customer queries, objections, and complaints patiently and professionally.
Follow up with non-purchasers (potential customers who did not buy immediately) to convert leads.
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships for repeat business and loyalty.
Compliance & Safety
Adhere to brand guidelines, SOPs, and confidentiality protocols (especially for high-value items).
Ensure safe handling and storage of jewellery; contribute to daily stock reconciliation.
Required Skills & Attributes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage customers effectively.

Basic computer skills (POS systems, MS Office) and digital literacy (social media familiarity is a plus).
Ability to work in a team, handle pressure, and achieve targets.

Experience
Preferably
1-3 years
