Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced and results-driven Area Sales Manager to oversee multiple consumer-facing stores within a city. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing store operations, and leading a team of store managers to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Performance:
- Achieve sales targets and revenue growth across all assigned stores.
- Analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to improve sales performance.
2. Store Operations:
- Ensure all stores are operated in accordance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Monitor store performance, including sales, inventory, customer service, and visual merchandising.
3. Team Management:
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of store managers to achieve business objectives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and coaching to improve performance.
4. Customer Service:
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained across all stores.
- Implement customer feedback mechanisms to drive improvements.
5. Inventory Management:
- Manage inventory levels, minimize stock losses, and optimize stock levels.
6. Visual Merchandising:
- Ensure stores are visually appealing and merchandise is displayed according to company standards.
7. Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, performance analysis, and other required documentation.
- Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
8. Compliance:
- Ensure all stores comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
1. Education: Related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in retail sales management, preferably in consumer-facing stores.
3. Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving store performance.
- Ability to analyze sales data and implement strategies to drive growth.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and retail management software.
