The Automobile Sales Consultant is responsible for assisting customers in purchasing vehicles by understanding their needs, presenting suitable options, and delivering an excellent buying experience. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, building long-term customer relationships, and representing the dealership's brand professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers visiting the showroom
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable vehicles
Explain vehicle features, specifications, pricing, and financing options
Arrange and conduct vehicle test drives
Negotiate prices and close sales in line with company policies
Prepare sales documentation and coordinate vehicle delivery
Maintain accurate customer records and follow up on leads
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and market trends
Build long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction before and after sales
Required Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or bachelor's degree (preferred)
Proven experience in automobile sales or retail sales (preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Persuasive and customer-focused approach
Ability to work with sales targets and incentives
Basic computer skills (CRM, MS Office, or dealership software)
Valid driver's license (required for test drives)
