The Salesman is responsible for welcoming customers, understanding their needs, and helping them select suitable products. This role is focused on delivering excellent customer service, meeting sales targets, and ensuring a positive shopping experience that reflects the brand image.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products.
Provide accurate information about fragrances, ingredients, pricing, and promotions.
Understand customer preferences and suggest suitable options.
Demonstrate and test perfumes for customers as required.
Maintain product displays, refill shelves, and keep the store tidy.
Process sales transactions through the POS system accurately.
Meet or exceed individual and store sales targets.
Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when needed.
Keep up to date with product knowledge and new arrivals.
Assist in stock receiving, tagging, and store inventory counts.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years of experience in retail sales (perfume, fashion or cosmetics preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as per store schedule.
Presentable and well-groomed appearance.
Preferred Qualities:
Basic understanding of fragrance families and product categories.
Sales-driven mindset with a friendly and engaging attitude.
Fluency in English (Arabic/Hindi/Tamil is a plus depending on store location).
