Position Summary The Senior Store associate is responsible for all activities at the store in the absence of the assistant manager or store manager. His/her job description entails ensuring maximum sales by the store as well as excellent customer service in helping customers locate, select, and purchase products. He/she serves as the company brand representative, upholding the highest standards in carrying out daily functions. The senior Store associate\xe2\x80\x99s role involves providing exceptional customer care and achieving sales goals to ensure the store\xe2\x80\x99s objectives on sales and profits are met. He/she is expected to take on higher responsibilities that may be assigned by the manager or assistant manager within the store. With such employers, the purpose of the senior store associate\xe2\x80\x99s role may include generating sales to surpass personal sales goals, as well as effectively promoting the company\xe2\x80\x99s programs. The associate should be well trained to be able to give effective sales presentations and build rewarding relationships with customers. The duties of the senior store associate also involve promoting customer loyalty and giving each customer the best service they have ever got. The senior store associate work description also involves ensuring the security of the store. Responsibilities

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
  • Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
  • Maintain a fully stocked store
  • Ascertain customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs and wants
  • Recommend and display items that match customer needs
  • Welcome and greet customers
  • Manage point-of-sale processes
  • Actively involved in the receiving of new shipments and checking inventory
  • Keep up to date with product information
  • Accurately describe product features and benefits
  • Follow all companies\xe2\x80\x99 policies and procedures
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
  • Proven working experience in retail sales
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Excellent Communication Skills
