- Retail Sales Associate (Unique Solar)

Position: Retail Sales Associate

Department: Sales & Customer Service

Reporting To: Sales Manager

1. Job Purpose

Explaining solar products and solutions, achieving sales targets and ensuring a positive customer experience. The candidate will play a key role in guiding customers through product selection such as solar panels, inverters and accessories.

2. Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Solar Product Sales

Greet walkin customers and understand their solar requirements.

Explain product features: solar panels, inverters, batteries, charge controllers, solar pumps, and accessories.

Guide customers on basic system sizing (1kW-20kW), usage, and benefits.

Provide quotations and assist customers in choosing the right products.

Work towards daily/weekly/monthly sales targets.

Customer Relationship Management

Handle customer queries and resolve issues politely.

Maintain customer data for followup and future sales.

Build longterm relationships with repeat and referral customers.

Billing & Documentation

Assist with billing using POS/ERP/CRM systems.

Prepare and share quotations, receipts, and basic documents.

Coordinate with back office for stock availability and billing support.

Product Knowledge & Training

Stay updated on new solar products, specifications, and offers.

Participate in company product training sessions.

Communicate technical product issues or customer feedback to management.

3. Skills & Competencies Required

Strong communication & convincing skills.

Good knowledge or willingness to learn about solar products.

Basic computer skills (Excel, Billing Software, CRM).

Polite, customerfriendly, and salesfocused personality.

Ability to explain technical products in simple language.

4. Qualifications

Minimum 12th Pass; Graduate preferred.

Experience: 1-3 years in retail sales (solar/electrical/electronics preferred).

Freshers with strong communication skills may also apply.

5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Sales target achievement.

Customer satisfaction and feedback.

Product knowledge accuracy.

Lead followup and conversion rate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,086.00 - ₹20,075.63 per month
