Role Overview:

We are looking for a smart, confident, and sales-driven

Retail Store Assistant

to join our team. The ideal candidate should have excellent

spoken English

, strong

sales and negotiation skills

, and a passion for textiles and customer service. This role involves interacting with walk-in customers (including international clients), explaining product details, helping with selection, and closing sales with confidence and clarity.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers in a warm and professional manner Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products Explain product features, origin, fabric quality, and pricing Negotiate and close sales effectively while maintaining brand value Maintain store presentation and ensure merchandise is well-organized Coordinate with the back-end team for inventory and order fulfilment Handle customer queries and provide after-sales support where needed Assist during exhibitions and events when required

Requirements:

Prior experience in retail sales or customer service (fashion/textiles preferred) Excellent verbal communication skills in

English and Hindi

Strong

negotiation and persuasion abilities

Confident personality with a positive attitude Basic knowledge of textiles, fabrics, or interest in artisanal fashion is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Minimum qualification: 12th pass (Graduate preferred)
