Job Summary:



The Retail Sales Representative is the primary point of contact for customers visiting the two-wheeler dealership. This role is responsible for actively engaging with potential buyers, understanding their needs, showcasing various two-wheeler models and related products (accessories, spare parts, insurance, financing), and ultimately converting inquiries into sales. The ideal candidate will be passionate about two-wheelers, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be target-driven.

Key Responsibilities:



Customer Engagement & Sales:

Greet walk-in customers warmly and assist them in a friendly and professional manner. Understand customer requirements, preferences, and budget through effective questioning and active listening. Provide detailed and accurate information about different two-wheeler models, their features, specifications, pricing, and benefits. Conduct product demonstrations, explain warranty and service plans, and facilitate test rides. Present financing options, insurance plans, and explain the sales process clearly. Effectively overcome customer objections and concerns to close sales deals. Cross-sell and up-sell accessories, spare parts, merchandise, and value-added services. Maintain rapport with existing customers for repeat business and referrals.

Showroom Operations:

Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and inviting at all times. Maintain attractive and informative product displays. Assist with inventory management and ensure proper stock arrangement. Stay updated on all product knowledge, current promotions, and dealership policies.

Sales Administration & Reporting:

Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Manage billing processes and necessary documentation for vehicle registration and delivery. Maintain accurate customer records and update CRM (Customer Relationship Management) data. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, tracking individual performance against targets. Collect customer feedback and address queries or complaints promptly and professionally.

Market & Product Knowledge:

Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and new product launches in the two-wheeler industry. Actively participate in training sessions to enhance sales techniques and product knowledge.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments (service, parts, finance) to ensure a seamless customer experience. Contribute to achieving individual and overall showroom sales targets.

Qualifications and Skills:



Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is typically required. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.

Experience:

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Prior experience in two-wheeler or automotive sales is a significant advantage. Freshers with excellent communication skills and a strong interest in two-wheelers may also be considered.

Strong verbal and written communication in English and the local language(s).

Ability to build rapport, engage with customers, and understand their needs.

Sales Acumen:

Proven ability to persuade, negotiate, and close sales.

Product Knowledge:

Willingness to learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of all two-wheeler models, features, and accessories.

Customer Service Orientation:

A customer-focused approach with a professional and approachable demeanor.

Goal-Oriented:

Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to address customer concerns and resolve issues effectively.

Basic Computer Proficiency:

Familiarity with MS Office and experience with CRM software is a plus.

Time Management:

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Team Player:

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Valid Two-Wheeler Driving License:

Essential for test rides and understanding the product.

Working Conditions:



Primarily works in a showroom environment. May involve standing for extended periods. Requires working flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as per showroom operational needs.
