The Retail Sales Assistant is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a welcoming and well-organized store environment. The role involves assisting customers with product selection, processing transactions, and supporting daily store operations.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products
Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems
Handle cash, card payments, refunds, and exchanges
Assist with visual merchandising and promotional displays
Meet or exceed individual and store sales targets
Handle customer queries, complaints, and returns professionally
Support inventory checks and stock replenishment
Follow company policies, procedures, and loss-prevention guidelines
