The Sales Assistant supports the sales team by assisting customers, maintaining product displays, processing transactions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This role plays a key part in achieving sales targets and maintaining store standards.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
Assist customers with product selection and answer basic product questions
Process sales transactions accurately (cash, card, or POS systems)
Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked displays
Restock shelves and manage inventory levels
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally
Support promotional activities and sales campaigns
Work collaboratively with team members to meet sales goal
