Job Summary

MedPlus is hiring

Retail Pharmacists

to manage store-level pharmacy operations, ensure accurate dispensing of medicines, deliver excellent customer service, and comply with all regulatory requirements. This role offers

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Prescription Dispensing & Patient Care

Accurately dispense prescription and OTC medicines as per doctor's prescription Explain dosage, frequency, storage, and possible side effects to customers Ensure correct labeling and packing of medicines Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical pharmacy practices

2. Customer Service (MedPlus Standards)

Provide polite, professional, and quick service to customers Assist customers with generic alternatives and value options Resolve customer queries and guide them on health & wellness products

3. Store Operations

Handle billing using MedPlus POS/software Maintain store cleanliness and proper medicine arrangement Monitor stock levels, near-expiry items, and fast-moving products Coordinate with warehouse for stock replenishment

4. Compliance & Documentation

Follow

Pharmacy Act, Drug Control norms, and MedPlus SOPs

Maintain prescription records, registers, and statutory documents Support audits and inspections by authorities

5. Team Coordination

Work closely with CSA/store staff to ensure smooth store operations Support store targets and daily operational requirements Willing to work in rotational shifts as per MedPlus policy

Skills Required

Strong knowledge of medicines and formulations Good communication skills (Tamil mandatory, basic English preferred) Customer-friendly approach Basic computer knowledge Attention to accuracy and compliance

Eligibility Criteria

D.Pharm or B.Pharm qualification Pharmacy Council Registration (State/PCI) - Mandatory Freshers welcome (training provided by MedPlus) Willingness to work at any MedPlus store location as assigned

Salary & Benefits (MedPlus Offering)

Salary:

?15,000 - ?25,000 per month (based on experience)

Retention Bonus:

?1,00,000 on completion of 3 years
