Position Title: Retail Operations Manager Division: Sales Reports To Head: E-Commerce and Modern Trade Purpose Of Position:
The Retail Operations Manager will be responsible for developing and executing retail strategies
that drive visibility, sales and brand presence within key retail channels, including Noble+, Apollo,
modern trade and e-commerce. This role is critical in translating brand-level marketing strategies
into effective, in-store and online execution and will be a key driver of the company's expansion into new channels.
Major Accountabilities: Channel Strategy and Execution
Develop and implement channel-specific trade marketing strategies for modern trade and e-commerce, ensuring alignment with overall brand objectives.
Drive execution of retail initiatives, including in-store visibility, point-of-sale (POS) material placement and promotional campaigns.
Collaborate with key retail partners like Noble+, Apollo, and others to create joint business plans that
maximize mutual growth.
Analyze channel performance data to identify opportunities, optimize campaigns, and ensure a strong return on investment (ROI).
Brand and Product Visibility:
Lead the creation and deployment of all in-store and online merchandising and visibility materials.
Develop and manage a calendar of promotional activities, including offers, product displays and activations, to drive traffic and conversions.
Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all retail touchpoints, both physical and digital.
Partner with the product and brand teams to ensure new product launches are effectively executed within retail channels.
Financial Management:
Manage the trade marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to high-impact initiatives.
Utilize data analytics to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of trade marketing campaigns.
Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven recommendations for
continuous improvement. Sales and Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the sales team to ensure they are equipped with the necessary tools and materials to execute trade strategies effectively in the field.
Partner with the brand and marketing teams to ensure a seamless translation of brand strategy into retail execution.
Collaborate with supply chain and operations to ensure adequate product availability for all trade marketing activities.
Merchandiser Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of merchandisers to ensure the successful development and setup of merchandising inputs and displays at retail stores.

Retail Landscape Acumen: Possesses an in-depth understanding of the current and future retail
environment, including pharmacy chains, modern trade, and e-commerce platforms.
Customer Journey Knowledge: Demonstrates a detailed understanding of the shopper's journey, their pain points and preferences across different retail channels.
Merchandising & POS Management: Has a proven track record of developing and executing effective
merchandising strategies, including the creation of compelling point-of-sale (POS) materials and in-store displays. Commercial & Financial Acumen
Budget Management: Formulates logical and consistent business assumptions to support trade marketing investments and proactively manages the budget to ensure ROI.
Negotiation Skills: Possesses strong negotiation skills to manage discounts, pricing and promotional deals with retail partners.

Merchandiser Management: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team of merchandisers to
ensure consistent and high-quality execution of merchandising strategies in the field.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: A natural collaborator who can work effectively with sales teams, brand marketing, and supply chain to ensure seamless execution of trade marketing plans.

Qualification And Experience
Graduate in a relevant field with a post-graduation in management.
6-10 years of experience in trade marketing or channel management, preferably within the pharmaceutical, FMCG or consumer health sectors.
A strong understanding of the Indian retail landscape, including modern trade, pharmacy chains and e commerce platforms.
