Job Title: Retail Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Retail Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail stores. The role involves ensuring operational efficiency, driving sales, improving customer satisfaction, and managing store teams to deliver business objectives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing company policies, optimizing store processes, and supporting store managers to achieve performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management

Oversee the smooth functioning of retail outlets, ensuring adherence to SOPs and company policies.

Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and loss prevention across stores.

Ensure compliance with visual merchandising and store presentation guidelines.

Coordinate with cross-functional departments (HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing) for operational needs.

Sales & Business Performance

Support store managers in achieving sales targets and KPIs.

Analyze store performance reports and implement corrective action plans.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to improve business strategies.

Team Management & Development

Lead, train, and mentor store managers and retail staff to enhance skills and performance.

Conduct regular meetings and performance reviews with store teams.

Build a customer-first culture and motivate staff to deliver high-quality service.

Customer Experience

Ensure consistent delivery of excellent customer service across all outlets.

Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.

Implement initiatives to improve customer engagement and loyalty.

Reporting & Compliance

Prepare and present operational and sales reports to senior management.

Ensure all stores comply with health, safety, and legal requirements.

Monitor budgets, expenses, and operational costs to maximize profitability.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (MBA preferred).

5-10 years of experience in retail operations, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Proven ability to drive sales and optimize store performance.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in MS Office and retail management systems (ERP/POS).

Willingness to travel to multiple store locations as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
