Job Description

The Retail Manager is responsible for managing overall store operations, driving sales growth, leading the store team, and ensuring excellent customer service. The role requires proven retail management experience and the ability to meet business targets while maintaining operational and brand standards.

Experience Required

3-6 years of experience

in retail operations Minimum

2 years in a supervisory or managerial role

Experience in FMCG, wellness, pharmacy, fashion, or lifestyle retail preferred
Key Responsibilities

Store Operations

Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning Implement company policies, SOPs, and retail standards Maintain store hygiene, layout, and visual merchandising

Sales & Business Performance

Achieve monthly and annual sales targets Develop and execute sales strategies and promotions Analyze sales data and prepare performance reports

Customer Experience

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction Handle customer complaints and service escalations Build long-term customer relationships

Team Leadership

Recruit, train, motivate, and manage store staff Conduct team meetings and performance evaluations Ensure staff productivity and discipline

Inventory & Financial Control

Manage inventory levels, stock audits, and replenishment Control shrinkage, damages, and pilferage Monitor cash handling, billing, and expense control
Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills Knowledge of POS systems, inventory software, and retail KPIs Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
