Job Title: Retail Lead (COCO & FOFO) No. of people required: 1

Reporting to: SBU Head - Modular Division Industry experience: 10+ Years
Location: Mumbai Monthly In hand Salary Range: 20 LPA
Travel Required: Travel to Delhi, NCR, Pune, Bangalore (As required) Incentives applicable: No
Working Days: Monday to Saturday Work Timings: 10:15 am to 6:45 pm
Role Purpose:
To lead the sales, operations, and P&L performance of Durian's Modular Kitchen & Wardrobe showrooms across COCO
and FOFO formats.
The role acts as the business owner for showroom performance -- ensuring revenue growth, customer experience excellence,
backend coordination, and operational discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Sales Ownership & Revenue Growth
? Own monthly and annual sales targets for all modular COCO & FOFO showrooms.
? Drive enquiry design quote order conversion funnels.
? Monitor and improve conversion %, ATS, enquiry TAT, follow-up discipline.
? Support major closures through negotiation, costing approvals, and design alignment.
? Work closely with Marketing to drive store-level campaigns, lead quality, and ROI.
B. P&L Ownership (Store Profitability)
? Manage contribution margin, discount discipline, and overall profitability of each showroom.
? Track Gross Margin and Net GP after direct cost -- ensure minimum profitability benchmarks.
? Control local store expenses, rent ratios, manpower productivity, and BTL spend.
? Work with Finance for accurate monthly P&L reporting, reconciliation, and leak corrections.
C. Cross-Functional Coordination (CFT)
Work closely with:
Design & Engineering
? Ensure timely drawings, costing, BOQ accuracy, design revisions.
? Maintain design TAT and coordinate 3D pipelines.
Supply Chain
? Monitor dispatch TAT, material delays, factory WIP, installation readiness.
Marketing
? Execute ATL/BTL plans, digital campaigns, social media, and store activations.
? Provide weekly lead feedback & coordinate performance improvements.
Customer Service
? Maintain complaint ageing <30 days
? Ensure 70% review collection & First-Time-Right responses.
HR
? Fulfil manpower needs, conduct training, maintain compliance & discipline.
Projects/Facilities
? Ensure store conditions, display maintenance, and periodic redesigns.
Visual Merchandising
? Execute VM guidelines; maintain updated and attractive displays.
D. People Management
? Lead Store Managers, Designers, Modular Sales Executives.
? Enable coaching, weekly one-on-ones, and performance tracking.
? Build a strong culture of discipline, conversion excellence, and customer orientation.
Desired Candidate Profile:
? 10 years+ in Modular Kitchens / Wardrobes / Modular Furniture retail.
? Must have handled store-level P&L, sales teams, and design-driven closures.
? Must have exposure to:
o COCO/FOFO retail formats
o Carpentry/modular materials, modular hardware (Hettich/Blum/Grass),
o Pricing sheets, kitchen layouts, wardrobe configurations
o Installation/dispatch workflows
o Coordination with factory or outsourced manufacturing partners
Qualification & Experience:
? Graduate or Postgraduate;
Preferred: background in Interiors / Architecture / Design management
Required Skills:
Strong sales closure ability
Solid understanding of materials, finishes, modular construction
Ability to manage multiple store teams
High comfort with CRM, Excel, and ERP flows
Strong communication & customer relationship ability
High accountability & follow-up discipline
Profiles to prioritize:
? Anyone who has run a modular showroom end-to-end (sales + ops + P&L).
? Candidates coming from experience centres where design + sales + factory coordination is required.
