1. Role Overview
The Retail Life & Health Executive/Manager will be responsible for handling end-to-end operations, client servicing, policy issuance, renewals, and coordination with insurance partners. The role requires strong product knowledge, customer handling skills, and the ability to ensure smooth workflow within the team.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Sales & Business Development
Manage Retail Life and Health Insurance business (Individual Health, Family Health, Term Life, and Investment Life Products).
Generate new business leads through outbound calls, references, and renewals.
Guide customers on suitable life and health insurance products based on their requirements.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
B. Client Servicing
Handle customer queries related to policy features, premium, claim process, and product comparison.
Provide timely assistance for policy renewals and follow-ups.
Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure long-term retention.
C. Policy Operations
Handle proposal form verification, documentation, and policy issuance.
Coordinate with insurance companies for underwriting, endorsements, and policy-related queries.
Ensure compliance with IRDAI guidelines and company processes.
D. Renewals Management
Track upcoming renewals and ensure timely follow-up with customers.
Share renewal quotations and negotiate with insurance companies to provide the best options for clients.
E. Coordination & Reporting
Work closely with the underwriting, claims, and operations team for smooth process flow.
Maintain MIS reports related to sales, renewals, and customer interactions.
Escalate complex issues to the senior team when necessary.
3. Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of Retail Life & Health Insurance products.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Good negotiation and persuasion abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Email).
Ability to work under pressure and meet timelines.
Understanding of IRDAI compliance and documentation.
4. Qualification
Graduate/Postgraduate (Preferably in Insurance, Finance, or any related field).
Certification (e.g., POSP, IRDAI License) will be an added advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
