Job Summary:
Lead daily operations of the apparel showroom floor to drive sales, achieve revenue targets, optimize inventory flow, and deliver exceptional customer experiences -- turning browsers into buyers and repeat shoppers into brand advocates.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Target Achievement
Own and hit monthly/quarterly sales targets
Track and report daily/weekly sales performance
Implement tactical promotions, visual merchandising, and staff incentives to boost conversion & ATV
Team Management & Development
Supervise, train, and motivate floor associates (5-15 team members)
Conduct daily huddles, performance reviews, and recognition programs
Ensure staff are trained on product knowledge, selling techniques, and brand story
Inventory & Merchandising Control
Monitor stock levels, turnover, and sell-through rates per category
Coordinate with buying/merchandising teams to rotate displays, markdown slow movers, and highlight new arrivals
Reduce shrinkage & loss through proper handling, tagging, and floor discipline
Customer Experience Excellence
Ensure seamless, personalized shopping journey from entry to checkout
Handle VIP clients, escalations, and feedback with urgency & professionalism
Maintain store standards: cleanliness, signage, fitting room hygiene, queue management
Data-Driven Decision Making
Generate weekly dashboards & present insights to leadership
Suggest process improvements based on sales trends & customer behaviour
Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or related field
3-5 years proven experience in apparel retail floor management
Proven track record hitting/exceeding sales targets in high-traffic showrooms
Experience managing 13-40 floor staff
Strong analytical & communication skills
